I feel so happy right now. I just made peanut butter chocolate bars. So good. Anything with peanut butter and chocolate is instant heaven! For lunch I had leftover spaghetti and turkey balls. Aren’t the leftovers sometimes better?

These yarns are gorgeous. If I could just master the scarf! I love the mix of all the different colors. The yarn is handspun by ficklefiberdiva using various colonial wools and merinos. Love!

It looks like we could be in for a real cool fall weekend. Time to take out the down comforters, wool blankets, and slippers. Why not switch out the plain cotton sheets to something a little warmer? I have been collecting grey and blue stripes inspiration. Grey stripes in a wider a band feel crisp and classic. Blue ticking stripes remind me of vintage nautical interiors. I am attracted to both types of stripes and trying to find a way to incorporate them into my interior. Above we have some inspirational shots and below are pieces that I could buy. I have an obsession with cheap plastic colorful bags. I just can’t resist buying them. When I was in college I had tons that I used to carry my art supplies. The bags were so cheap that I never worried about a little charcoal or paint destroying them. Nowadays, I stash a few in the car for impromptu shopping trips or the farmer’s market.
