I love this terra cotta bank ($23) from Kiosk’s new Portugal collection. How fun would it be to smash it once it’s full?

Last night I came across these beautiful wares and fun website by Gry Fager. When you first visit her website your a little unsure of the scale of the objects. In most of the photos she can be seen dancing on or inside the objects. I’m pretty sure the pieces are not super sized but Gry is just a hilarious Dutchmen. Gry recently graduated from The Danish Design School. The images below are a just a few projects she conceived while working towards her Masters in manufacturing design. I love those containers with the cork tops!

Gorgeous gorgeous plates that I found on tichelaar.nl. I have no idea what the text says because I think it’s all in Dutch. Who cares! I can still stare all the amazing plates. I love them all.

I find these containers by Ikukoi Iwamoto totally interesting and fascinating.

My grandmother sent me two of these gorgeous blue bowls. They are pretty heavy pottery and the outside has a ombre like finish. There are no markings to give me a clue where they could be from or how old they could be?

I love these simple ceramic tabletop pieces from Louisa Taylor. Her tea set collection is my favorite. Beautiful sweeping lines and curves.

Everyone is getting ready to go away for the holidays. I’m happy to spend our first Christmas alone in our new house. I can’t wait to spend the day eating fresh cinnamon buns and watching movies. These gorgeous pine cone and acorn porcelain sculptures from Coe and Waito (via oh joy) feel perfect for the snowy winter weather outside. Each porcelain piece is meticulously hand sculpted, capturing the intricate beauty of the object.

Since I am on a knitting kick I thought I would share these lovely ceramic pieces by Alyssa Ettinger. Now that I am starting to collect nice furniture I need to invest in some coasters. I was doing some work for domino this morning when I came across an old story on Mae Mougin. Her pieces are so delicate and simple. I really enjoy her the pieces that she uses simple typed text. I think the butter plate is my favorite. Check out more:
