Green Doors and Shutters in France

Posted on | May 30, 2012 | 13 Comments

Bonnieux

Moody gray greens are my favorite color. In Provence I spotted this very particular green on front doors, shutters, lights and fences. “That’s my green,” I exclaimed to Greg! I painted the molding in my den Farrow & Ball’s Verte De Terre; which looks very similar. The gray undertones of the green pigment are gorgeous against stone. Below some snapshots of greens spotted around Provence.

I’m so glad you shared this – and all your green finds. I, too, love the color and our new house mostly is a similar shade.
