Last night, I attended the Design*Sponge craft workshop and book signing at West Elm in Boston. Have you checked out the book yet? It’s filled with 70 real-life and super inspiring interiors, 50 diy crafts, step-by-step tutorials on everything from stripping, painting furniture to doing your own upholstery.
At the craft workshop we made a variation of the Freezer Paper Monogrammed Handkerchiefs but we used napkins from west elm and motifs Grace provided. Using freezer paper we cut out a single motif, ironed onto our napkin and dabbed fabric paint inside the stencil. Remove the freezer paper and voilà a super cute custom napkin. For more in-depth instructions pick up Design*Sponge at Home and turn to page 221. Below snapshots from the evening including a few funny ones from the photobooth.

I used the house template on a Regal Blue Cross Dye napkin from West Elm.
