This is what I’ve been waiting for all summer, tomato season. I will eat them simply and again try my hand at a homemade sauce—Greg said last year it was the best he’s ever had. Was it a fluke? Or is a summer tomato that transcendental it doesn’t matter if I’m a good cook or not?
p.s. I got a call at 7 p.m. asking if I wanted to pick up a 20 lb box of heirloom tomatoes from my CSA, best treat ever!
