Blue hydrangeas cut from my garden after a torrential rainstorm. Their buds rain soaked brushed the ground. Seven blossoms pruned and layered into a white ceramic bowl to be placed at my bedside.

They will forever remind me of our wedding in Newport, RI. Hydrangeas are a sweet slice of heaven – your garden must be sublime. xoxo michele

Agree totally with Michael Penney. Your walls are the perfect backdrop for the photos. Very John-Derian-Provincetown-house-ish.

I think it’s time to do some paintings from your garden, the hydrangea are so blue, it seems to make everything around it blue, and yes I agree about the squash. a painting would be great for a kitchen, they look like little soldiers

I can’t believe your hydrangea are already with flowers! I think there is a month of différence between New-England and Québec.

My hygrangés are just a leafy mess right now. Not even a tiny bud!!

How beautiful! They are so true blue.

We had the same storm pummeled hydrangea situation last week in New York, so I pruned the bush and had more flowers than I knew what to do with. Tried to give some away, but the neighbors weren’t home.
