Stripe Knit Euro Pillows

I’ve been knitting away on matching stripe euro pillows for our bed. If you remember I was originally going to make a stripe afghan in garter stitch. I decided it was too boring and switched to euro pillows. I love the way the garter stitch looks in stripes. I’m planning to make the pillow in one piece with an envelope back and stitch up the sides.

The natural color of the wool is stunning paired together. I have enough yarn to make the pillows, maybe a hat, and fingerless gloves too. It will be my own special collection of accessories! Below me playing around with all the different possibilities.

I used to knit with my mom when I was younger… I wish I still had the patience for it! These look so cozy :)

Adorable! I love the hat version!! Knitting looks like it takes so much longer than crochet, but I love how delicate the stitches are!

A simple garter stitch, now that is something I can do. Can wait to see it all finished!

Love this combo. Wow. Makes a great hat too, including the square shape.

Wow! How beautiful your pillow is going to be! I love it already. I began knitting…. a week ago. Where did you find a pattern like this or are you making it up as you go?

    Hi karen!

Sorry no pattern. I’m making it up as I go. But once I’m done and if it looks like I share the pattern that I figured out.

    Good luck knitting!

Okay, stupid question but…how do you knit the two colors? Do you clip the end after each row and weave? In the photo, it appears that you simply save each ball until you get to the next end.
