Last summer we had our house painted and this is exactly the look I was going for. Unfortunately it did not come out like that at all. The painters sprayed the entire house while I was out for a couple of hours and by the time I returned home it was to late to say, "wait I don't like that color! We have to lighten it up." Lesson learned-never leave the house when people are working on it! I never followed up on my blog with the new paint because I was a little bummed about how it turned out. Definitely not French-y at all. Can't wait to see how yours turns out or dig further into your blog to see if you have already painted the exterior. Blessings, Shanna Love those colors too! They are all classics and would compliment your adorable house very nicely. The house in the last 2 photos reminds me the most of yours. You are wise to choose darker colors.
