Summer Solstice

The sun has set here, I sent it west. What a lovely day to be the longest—sunny, hot, and breezy. I skipped the gym tonight and walked down to Fort Sewall at the tip of Marblehead Harbor to enjoy the final rays. Happy Summer!

Beautiful way to end the day, Katy. I’m not sure if it was the same point, but my fiancee and I walked to a similar point in Marblehead when we were there last summer. You have such a wonderful harbor!

Brittany Noel-
Such a bummer I missed you last summer. I’m sure it’s the same point. I’m sitting in kinda a strange spot so I can look west to see the sunset.

Okay, you are seriously so lucky to have sunsets like that. Wasn’t it a great day? How’s the garden growing?

If you want to see what you sent west, check out today’s post on my blog. I put up pictures from the Monday’s Solstice Sunset, taken on Baker Beach in San Francisco. It was FAN-tastic! Happy to see others enjoy a sunset as much as me :)

Okay now you are making me really nostalgic, We used to make sure we found someones boat to sleep on on the summer solstice what time was your video taken? Its mid winter here so dark and rainy and in the 50s. Also Loved the fireworks over the water. As a grown up we used to sit on a balcony overlooking LA harbour and Long beach and watch about 5 different fireworks along with all the fireworks goning on up and down the streets and houses. Im missing that But I can find them on New years here, that is our summer.
All the best and thanks for the memories!!

I meant to mention that our summers were spent at Sachem’s Head.
