Spring Comes To New England
Posted on | March 5, 2010 | 6 Comments

I can’t believe my daffodils are coming up. Spring is around the corner—it’s just 15 days away according to our vernal equinox. I can’t wait for my town to explode into color. The magnolia trees that blossom in late April are my favorite. Wait? So we really have another 2 months of cold? That doesn’t seem right or fair. Happy Weekend!

Ours are poking up here in Brooklyn too, I feel like they got tricked into emerging. I’m worried it’ll get too cold for them!

I thought it was a bit early too Laura. But last year I took a photo of them coming out of the ground on Feb 20th.

So lovely! They’re fully up at home in Dublin, but not a bud in sight here in Toronto… I’m willing them on!
