Painter: Rose Umerlik

I first spotted these painting by Rose Umerlik at Nahcotta gallery in Portsmouth, NH about a month ago. The colors and line work are calm and poetic. To me the pieces remind me of hiking through a field a snow in the dead of winter and all I can hearing is the crunching sound of the snow echoing around me. Check out more: roseumerlik.com.
