Great black and color combo by Tauba Auerback.

Over the weekend I was thinking a lot about how much I love black paired with bright colors. Bright colors just seem to pop off dark backgrounds projecting great energy. The color combo could work in a number of different situations from art, interior design, textiles, and photography. Above and below are the images that got me started on my black/bright color brainstorming.

Josef Frank makes super awesome black/bright color fabric. I pretty much love anything he does, though.

Hey, love your blog, been reading from when you first started! I just wanted to let you know I also have a deep, abiding love for black backgrounds. I have a print for sale that you might like. Just a little heads up, thought you might like, since I adore your taste :)
