David Band: Painter

While I was searching for dark/bright color combos over the weekend I came across David Band’s paintings. A few of his pieces have dark backgrounds but I was more attracted to his other color combo. Lavender, pinks, grays, and cremes are soothing and modern. Pepto pink paired with navy and brown stole my heart (below). It makes me want to bust out the paintbrush and start painting. Check out many more pieces by David on his website, davidband.com.au.

Oh, how beautiful. They are somehow airy and intense at the same time (good thing I’m not an art critic).

I really love the composition of these, not to mention the cool colors.
