Bella Foster

A tip from hmstrjam via twitter. Bella Foster’s floral painting fits my dark background/bright color combo bill. The dark background reminds me of old Dutch floral paintings from the 1600′s. I like the carefree style of Bella’s paintings. I think on a blog post smacked up against each other the paintings might seem overwhelming. Imagine them on a wall with lots of space for the compositions to breath. Beautiful. See more on Bella’s website: bellafoster.com.

Love Bella’s work! I actually discovered it through the Kate Spade website awhile back and was immediately smitten. I’ve been meaning to post some images of the interiors she features on her blog. They are, in keeping with the above, amazing.
