   I've always loved Joel's photos. He really captures the essence of the shore. My mom had one of his books, but I haven't seen it in a long time. Thanks for the "refresher"!

   oh i LOVE joel meyerowitz. his images epitomize summer in new england.

   you know when sometimes you're reminded of things you love at just the right moment? that's this for me. so right for right now. thank you!

   I’m finding this blog posting far past the second of July. Its now early September, and these photos really do capture that last breath of summer for me. I’m not sure that I’m really ready for fall; its nice to know that these photos will be waiting for all of us any time we miss the fresh breezes of a New England summer.
