I hope your on your way to a warm relaxing place for the long holiday weekend. Marblehead is already filling up with tourists, sailors, and townies out enjoying an actual sunny day. The weekend is jammed packed with events, parades, and fireworks. On Sunday afternoon the Marblehead to Halifax race sets sail. Greg and I checked out the beautiful sailboats coming into the harbor this morning. Everyone in town is trying to caught a peek of “Destination” a 134-foot mega yacht through the new telescope recently installed at Fort Sewall (see image below). Amazing boat! Hope everyone has a nice and sunny weekend!
xoxo, katy

Many years ago we lived in NH, and would spend the weekend of July 4th with friends in Duxbuy, MA every year. Nothing is more charming on the 4th than a New England town with its colonials all decked out in bunting. Oh, and fried oysters, lobstah, and watching Wimbledon on an old, old TV. Happy memories!
