Spool Chair at Hickory Chair

Since I’m talking about side chairs I thought I would add this new love too. I’ve been spotting this spool chair designed by Mark Hampton for Hickory Chair everywhere. The chair feels so New England and classic. On twitter earlier in the week Tobi Fairley took a shot of the spool chair with her camera phone at the Hickory Chair warehouse (below). The stripes are amazing. Where can I put the spool chair if I want to put the tufted style in the living room?

I’m working on a design project and in search of arm chairs too. I’ve been obsessed with bergere chairs for several years but it’s like all of the sudden the veil has been lifted and I am taken by the spool chair. I think the spool chair has stolen my affection.
