Loving these affordable and colorful Swedish rag rugs. Great way to brighten up the floors for the summer. Available through Avolli for around $60-$100 each. Maybe I need one for my hallway or maybe the kitchen?

IKEA sells VERY similar ones for under $10! I bought one a few months ago. PS: I LOVE your blog! It's my new escape after Domino went away. Thank you.

Hi Katy, Thanks so much for including my beautiful rugs in your post. What is not apparent in the images is the incredible quality of these rugs that could never be accomplished with a $10 price tag. These rugs are thick and substantial which makes their price tag even more amazing. Here is a comment by customer:

"The rug and plate arrived and are wonderful. The rug is wonderful in my long kitchen and the quality of this vintage rug is unlike anything new that is on the market. Who knew that a rag rug could be raised to an art form! It is particularly special for me to have both these wonderful reminders of my own Swedish heritage."

I think the saying "you get what you pay for" almost applies here but in the case of the Avolli rugs, you get more than what you pay for.

Thanks again for including me and I hope we can meet some time when you find yourself coming to Maine. Please stop by Tangibles in Cape Neddick where you can see a sampling of my inventory and most of the rugs in person.

    My best,
    Tricia – Avolli

Hi Katy, I've been a reader for a long time and love your blog! I also posted on Swedish design this week and subsequently found Avolli… such great stuff, I'm glad you featured Tricia's rugs!
