lilacs 708960 Feeling Blah and Lilacs from {Frolic}!

Feeling totally blah today. I woke up at 3 am with horrible back pain, went to work at 9, felt like I was going to puke, came home, took a nap, and then went back to work. I haven’t really found anything to inspire me to today expect for a Bombay Gin bottle and Tiger Balm. I’m trying to relax while cruising my favorite blogs. The above photo is from Chelsea at {Frolic!} Mother’s Day brunch. Totally gorgeous. Lilacs and blue and white china definitely make me feel better. Night!

Aaaaah! That blue lace plate (top photo, bottom plate) is my favorite pattern. They cost $100 each. I don't own one yet.

Your illness sounds serious. Have you seen a doctor?

I hope you feel better soon! You probably overdid it with all of your crazy awesome house/garden projects. It is good to rest sometimes:) Checking out amazing blogs (like yours) always re-energizes me!

I hope you're feeling better by the time you read this comment! Arnica gel is pretty great for back pain, too. Uh, and the hands of a lover … ;)

Hope your back is on the mend. If it's sciatica, Advil or Anaprox should help with the inflammation. I did something to my lower back as well and I've also been icing and then using heat. Gardening will definitely do it!

BTW, you'll find a few Madeline Weinrib rugs on sale at ABC right now. There are so few that it's not worth writing about them. It doesn't look like she's going to do a major sale this year :( I'm still loving my pink Madeline! Nancy in San Francisco
