Colorful and Frilly Outdoor Umbrellas

I’ve been on the search for outdoor furniture and accessories. Everything I find feels so blah and generic. Santa Barbara Designs makes colorful and tactile creations that are anything but boring. The frilly tops remind me of flowers. A few of my favorites from their Spring 2009 collection above and below.

those are somehow hilarious and adorable. such a fun pop of color in the backyard. there's a really cute thailand-esque one at Pier 1 that caught my eye.

I think these umbrellas are amazing but my hubby would give them a big thumbs down and would tell me it would be a "man card violation" to sit under one…
