Ikea Susanna Fabric as Quilt Inspiration

I just discovered this ikea fabric via Visual Notes. I think the design would make an incredible pattern for a quilt. I love the black triangles with hints of color.

Update: I was thinking about the design above and I remembered these mexican pillows that have a similar pattern (below).

    Looks like the patterns formed by cellular automata used by computer algorithms.
