Valentine’s Day Gifts Idea Thoughts

I was on the internet for the last hour or so searching for valentine’s day gift ideas. Honestly, I feel a little weird suggesting items to *buy* when I myself can’t even afford them. So for the sake of me accepting my reality and many of you out their who are also jobless or just feeling the pinch; I say, “Don’t feel guilty that your not buying a expensive *gift* for your loved one this year.” Times are tough and some of us need to scale back and save whatever we’ve got. Why not make them dinner or cookies or even a card? I’ll share some recipe ideas next week. I remember Valentine’s day in college I made my boyfriend a mixed tape…I guess that makes me old? Who cares…we still listen to that tape on road trips and love it! Because in the end all you need is love.

p.s. if you would like to send an inexpensive card or art print check out my paper and affordable art categories.

p.p.s. I almost totally forgot to tell you to check out my $1 design finds column at domino while it’s still up. Might help you brainstorm some affordable gift ideas.

Mix tapes are definitely the best, most romantic presents.

Will you have access to the $1 design finds column once the Domino site is taken down? Maybe you could post it here … ?

I really enjoyed that guide (and used some of the ideas!) and would love to be able to refer to it in the future.

I'm so sorry to hear about your job. You're an obvious talent, though; so I'm sure you'll get back up on the (work)horse soon.

The domino site will be taken down including my $1 design columns. I was working on downloading the stories and putting them into pdfs so that I have them on file.
