I’m a huge fan of plaid wool blankets and I’ve written about them a few times before. Here is a new retailer to add to my list, faribaultmills.com. Merino wool throws and bed blankets are all reasonably priced.

I have been looking for faribault plaid wool blankets for my grandchildren; full or twin size blankets. Can you direct me to a source. faribault mills does not show a selection on their web site. thanks for any help you can provide.

TO YVONNE……SAD TO SAY…FARIBAULT MILLS CLOSED DOWN…OUTTA BUSINESS…IM JUST SICK OVER IT…I HAVE 9 OF THEIR BLANKETS AN 3 ON MY BED RIGHT NOW…THEIR WOOL BLANKETS WERE THE BEST! FROM WHAT I READ…CHEAP CHINESE IMPORTS PUT THEM UNDER AN THEY COULDNT COMPETE ANYMORE…I WAS WILLING TO PAY MORE CUZ THEY WERE QUALITY AN MADE IN THE U.S.A…CHECK THE WEB..YOU MAY FIND SOMEONE SELLING THE REMAINDER OF THEIR STOCK…HOPE THIS HELPS…
