It’s been snowing just a little over an hour. We went from bare streets to a full out winter storm. My advice stay inside or put your snow boots on and go outside! Have fun this weekend maybe decorate the tree, make up a big batch of soup or fill your belly with cookies! If you still have some gifts to buy check out my gift guide links below. No heading to the mall required. Happy snowstorm!

p.p.s. half the lights around my front door blew out and all my candles in the window did too! don’t buy battery operated candlesticks. they suck!

Seriously, the battery-operated candles are awful. My husband bought really $$$ ones from Restoration Hardware last year and they are TERRIBLE; even 2/$3.49 ones from Wal-Mart are better. My mother-in-law was just saying the other day that she can't find electric ones anymore, so she can only light as many windows of her house as she has old plug-in candles!

I got mine at ace hardware. They had some old versions. Even if I get the oldies the problem is only half my outlets actually work.

    time to call the electrician….
