Eyeing Antique China

It’s freezing cold outside and I am having a hard time leaving the safety of my very warm office. So for now how about a little window shopping? Above is a 19th century English Ironstone Platter. The platter is signed with a printed date mark, English, circa 1870’s. I was totally wowed by the color. Below the plate is from the same shop. Eric Ravilious designed the plate for Wedgewood circa 1932. I would love a whole set of these nautical plates! Unfortunately, one plate is $550.
