White Captain's Chairs
I found these on my local Craigslist last night. What do you think? They are from an old restaurant here in Boston. The ad says he has 60 left for $50 each. I would kinda like them if they were painted black? I want to find out about the blue chair that is sitting right behind the white as well. What do you think?

I think they're kind-of great!
My boyfriend and I are slowly renovating an old farmhouse and I'm using black accents in one of the rooms (chairs, frames, re-painting (eventually) a piano)

they'd be great black! - but that might be a lot of "armed" chairs around a table, unless your table is huge. maybe you could get two for the heads of the table and then get armless chairs for the sides? but that seems like a good price for them.
ps i love seeing your renovation!
Chiara, I was thinking the same thing about the arms. I like arm chairs but I think the room is just to small for a whole set. A great find for someone else!
