I seriously need to pick out some fabric for curtains on the windows. Today is pretty chilly and grey outside and the house feels pretty cold. I am investigating blow-in installation but I really need to cover the windows as well. Our house is in a historic area and we are not allowed to have double-paned windows. Crazy, right?

I love this interior from Harriet Maxwell’s house. The blue/green walls (Farrow & Ball: Blue Gray #91) are beautiful and looks great with chocolate brown accents. I have that large brown sofa I have to deal with so maybe this would be a good color palette to make it work. I found a polka dot fabric from Les Indiennes that might work as curtains or as upholstered chairs. Maybe a small floral on the windows? Is the Liberty fabric to grandma? I need help!

Update: The polka dot fabric is no longer available. Urg.
