Madewell

Madewell is the new brand owned by the preppy icon J.Crew. A new store has opened down on on Broadway in Soho.

I checked out the new brand online were I had a rather strange experience. The clothes seems to be geared for early 20-something who like to contort themselves into ackward poses. You have to visit to site to get what I mean. After selecting an outfit you can select to watch a video. A 2-sec loop displays a young girl doing dumb poses over and over in an all over blocky pattern. Really bad. Looks like someone got a hold of video editing software for the first time and was really impressed with what they could do in just few simple steps.
