I am loving these gorgeous flower headpieces (via iheartpeonies) from designer Jennifer Behr. They would be gorgeous for a bride or for any girly girl to wear to a festive event. My favorite is the large rose above. The flowers are made of various textiles so they will last for years. A great keepsake to remind you of special day. Check out more: jenniferbehr.com.

Cotton Ethnic Scarves

It was cold in rainy here in New York for the past couple of days. We definitely all needed to add a few extra Spring layers. It seemed like everyone in the office and on the streets was sporting some kind of ethnicy looking wrap. How about these 100% cotton Scarves and cover ups handmade in Ethiopia? I like the pretty colors and light gauzy texture. $74 each at thisisauto.com.

Eve Robinson

The 2008 Kips Bay Decorator Showhouse is now underway in New York. You can purchase tickets here to check out the great event. I want to reminisce a bit about last year’s Showhouse before we jumped into 2008.
My favorite room last year belong the room designed by Eve Robinson. The room was so lush, elegant, and airy. The simple palette of creams, browns, slate blues, and charteurse green accents felt clean and classic in the space. A favorite was the large slate blue curtains which help anchor the large windows in the space. A close second was the gorgeous felt wool carpet made up of large squares that were hemmed-stiched together. I felt like I was walking on clouds.
