I feel like I am on a constant search for affordable rugs. I purchased a thicker pile wool rug last year from Anthropologie. The thing sheds like a sheepdog. We are constantly vacuuming because our house has turned into a prairie of woolly tumbleweeds. My boyfriend had a freak out last week about the mess.

I love kilims. I like the earthy feel of worn antique versions. To me perfect examples with no wearing just don’t have the appeal. I would like a kilim with some pinks maybe. I have a brown couch so I think pink might be nice with grayish-greenish-blueish walls. Check out these picks above and below from kilim.com. All are priced below $1,000.
