Yellow on my mind

I have been in love with Yellow for months now. I’ve slowly seen it working it’s way into interiors. We saw a bit of it last summer but it felt a bit more hippy and 60′s. This Spring I love that it’s making an appearance on some more traditional looking fabrics and accessories. A look that feels timeless with a kick of modern fun.

I have been staring at this image from Anthro for days. Definetely an idea your going to see appearing in my new paintings. The swirly black and white wallpaper in the background gives the image such a crisp edge…while the yellow seems to be happily dancing on the foreground. I can’t wait to start painting!
